In an effort to expand services offered in the clinic, I am now trained and certified in the aesthetic procedures listed below. My goal is to focus on using these products and procedures thoughtfully and with an effort to maintain a natural appearance.

While there are endless options for aesthetic procedures, I've carefully chosen procedures that work to enhance collagen production for a natural softening of lines and lifting of facial tissues. These procedures often take multiple visits to achieve desired results.

Aesthetics Consultation with Dr. Bahrou: 20 minutes - $50. The cost of the consultation will be applied to any aesthetic procedure if you decide to proceed.

Botulinum Toxin

Botulinum toxin (brands BOTOX, Xeomin and others) is a procedure that uses an injectable compound that paralyzes facial muscles, reducing the appearance and formation of facial wrinkles.

Micro-needling with SkinPen

Micro-needling is the process of pricking the skin with numerous small, sharp needles using a SkinPen rolling device to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This can help with wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars, large pores, uneven skin tone, and more. Micro-needling can be used on the face and neck and may be combined with platelet-rich plasma application. With this process, a client's blood is drawn and spun down to remove red blood cells. The client's own platelet-rich plasma is applied to the treated area in order to take advantage of the growth factors and healing proteins present in blood.

PDO Threads

Polydioxane (PDO) threads are absorbable suture material in various thicknesses. In the process of dissolving, it stimulates collagen production. Smooth, thinner threads can be used to smooth wrinkles, add volume under eyes and in the temples and reduce the appearance of acne scars. Thicker, barbed threads can be used for lifting the brows, midface, jowls and neck. These can be used for treatment or prevention, depending on age and skin characteristics.
