Integrative Primary Care with Dr Kristina Bahrou
Healthy roots, Happy tree

Meet Dr. Bahrou

Integrative Family Medicine Physician

Welcome to Tree of Life Wellness! I'm thrilled that you've taken the time to explore my practice.

My name is Kristina Bahrou. I completed my medical education at the University of Michigan, residency training through Oakwood Anapolis Hospital and pursued additional training in integrative and functional medicine.

I believe that true health is more than just the absence of disease—it’s the result of a balanced, holistic approach to the body and mind.  The practice of integrative medicine combines the rigor of modern science with a personalized, patient-centered philosophy to help individuals achieve lasting wellness.

My practice is driven by the belief that lifestyle is the foundation of longevity and I focus on treating the whole person rather than just a set of symptoms.

Outside of the office, I stay just as busy, prioritizing regular exercise, time with my children, and tending to a beloved hobby farm.

I appreciate your trust in me and look forward to working with you.

About the Office

Making appointments, reaching your doctor, other FAQ

Clinic operation:

- I am the only doctor and only clinical staff member.  All scheduling and clinical questions should be directed to me.

- My office manager will help with getting new patients onboarded to the system and communicating with patients regarding billing.

  • New patients

    • MUST speak directly to me before becoming a patient and making an appointment.  As a small practice, it's important that this is a good fit for you before I become your primary care physician.

    •

  • My clinic may not be a good fit for you if:

    • You expect to always have same day / next day appointments available.

    • You have a number of serious medical conditions, you may be better served by a larger practice with multiple clinical staff members (nurse, care manager, etc)

  • Making an appointment

    • Please use the contact information below to contact me.

    • All communication requiring more than 5 minutes of time requires a billed appointment.

  • Cancellation policy

    • I ask that you give 24 hours notice to cancel a scheduled appointment.

    • Fee for 'no show' will be $50, and this is not covered by insurance.

  • Refills:

    • If you need a prescription refill, please use the patient portal at least 3 days prior to running out of your medication.

Scheduling an appointment, questions, and concerns:

  1. I am accepting new adolescent and adult female patients only.

  2. Existing patients:

    1. Please use the Elation patient portal for scheduling

    2. Messages and questions that will require extended communication will require a booked appointment

  3. Urgent needs

    1. Please attempt to book same day or next day

    2. If you cannot find an option, please call 734-330-2110

  4. Non-urgent questions: Please use the Elation Patient Portal

  5. Billing questions: Please email Mary

  6. After hours:

    1. If you need to reach a physician after hours, you may call and, if I am available, I will always do my best to respond promptly. As a solo doctor, there will be times when you will need to use your OWN DISCRETION about being seen in urgent care or ER if you do not hear back from me quickly.

    2. If your concern is not urgent, I ask that you please call during business hours the following day.

    3. If you are having an emergency: CALL 911 OR GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY.

When you arrive for your appointment, please text me at 734-330-2110 and wait for me to let you know when you may come up to the office.
